CEED acts as the co-ordinator for the whole process from project identification and recruitment of an eligible graduate/candidate, through the set up of the scholarship and monitoring of the project. This involves assisting the selected student with their enrolment and appointment of supervisors. For the client, CEED issues and organises the contracts, payment schedules and commissions the project.

During the course of study, the services of CEED are available for support of the student and client.

The Scholarship Agreement

The Scholarship Agreement which is signed by the company, and by the student/graduate, covers important issues such as:

• Assignment of Intellectual Property (IP) and commercial rights to the client
  
  
• Provision of QUT’s insurance policies (Product and Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Student Personal Accident)
  
  
• Provision for confidentiality for 5 years.
