CEED Program (Qld), on behalf of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), now invites companies and government to sponsor scholarships for industry-based Research Masters degrees - Engineering or IT. 

These new research scholarships arose from CEED’s commitment to seeking innovative ways to increase its range of services to students, to promote and raise the standard of students’ professional development, and to provide industry and government clients with a way to conduct significant R&D projects in partnership with QUT. The industry-based Research Masters Scholarship Scheme commenced at QUT in 2005 for Engineering and is available for IT from 2006.
 
These scholarships (funded by the industry partner) give new graduates added incentive to perform at a postgraduate research level and make a significant contribution to the client’s business. From the client’s point of view, the scheme is a very cost-effective way to undertake corporate research and development programs, link to a university for added resources and to provide corporate training for recent graduates. This scheme can readily dove-tail with existing graduate training programs.
